A man who pleaded guilty last month to a manslaughter charge at the Longueuil courthouse while admitting he killed his wife during an argument was sentenced Tuesday to a nine-year prison term.
Quebec Superior Court Justice Pierre Labrie agreed with a common suggestion that Mohamed Ali Mosbah, 56, of St-Basile-le-Grand serve the sentence for killing 51-year-old Hayette Bouguellid inside their home on Feb. 18, 2024.
