American Express in the Netherlands appears to be on a Membership Rewards (MR) to miles devaluation spree, right after announcing a significant conversion change to Flying Blue last week (read more here), which will take effect from July 1, 2026.
Now, another devaluation has taken place, with no notice and effective immediately. Amex MR in the Netherlands to Cathay Pacific conversions have been devalued by a whopping 58%, according to a reader!
