1999 was a time to be alive as it marked the premiere of Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. The marketing blitz was huge, from video games to toys to collectible Pepsi cans. There was no escaping it. Kids who grew up during the prequel saga have a nostalgia for it that the original trilogy fans don’t have. That is to say, they are more forgiving of the prequels.
