Infants make nuanced moral character judgments as early as 12 months old

Psychologists at the University of Toronto have found that we begin to make moral character judgments as early as 12 months old. The research, published in Communications Psychology, also recognizes that individuals can exist along a moral spectrum and suggests that early social interactions may play a role in shaping infants' moral judgments.
