Small habits like walking up flights of stairs or carrying your shopping instead of using a trolley could be the key to preventing Type 2 Diabetes, according to world-first research led by Monash University. In the first study in the world to highlight a link between short bursts of physical activity and lower risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, published in Diabetes Care, researchers found less than four minutes a day of short bursts of moderate to intense activity could reduce a person's risk
