Man to plead to domestic violence, unlawful wounding charges

A man accused of repeatedly assaulting and stabbing his wife in Honiara is expected to return to court on May 6 to enter a possible plea.



The defendant faces one count of Domestic Violence – Physical Abuse and two counts of Unlawful Wounding.



He recently appeared on remand before the Honiara Magistrate’s Court, where the matter was adjourned to allow time for the prosecution to obtain a medical report.
