The Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) arrested a man on Tuesday, April 28, suspected of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl on a public transport vehicle traveling along the Mérida Peripheral Highway.
According to reports, the teenager was traveling with her mother; however, due to the number of passengers on board, they sat in different seats. The girl stated that a male passenger touched her inappropriately, and she immediately alerted her mother.
