Only a handful of horror TV shows have managed to get Lovecraftian horror right. Among them, one is surprisingly more of a crime thriller that perfectly blends its procedural drama with cosmic horror themes. While the show in question does not exactly qualify as horror, it captures the true essence of the cosmic dread that defines H.P. Lovecraft's stories.
