Solomon Islands’ most decorated female weightlifter, Jenly Wini Tegu, has added to her impressive list of achievements after winning a gold and a bronze medal on day one of the 2026 IBFC Universal Weightlifting Championship in Apia, Samoa.
Competing in the women’s 53kg category, Wini recorded a total lift of 170kg to secure the gold medal and claim the Oceania Championship title.
