Flights between Iraq and Iran resume after 59-day suspension

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Flights between Iran and Iraq have resumed after nearly two months of disruption, marking a gradual return to normal air traffic following the fragile truce between the United States and Iran, effective April 8.



The first flight from Iran to Iraq took place on Sunday, bringing an end to a 59-day ban.



The spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, Maitham al-Safi, told Rudaw News that the first flight from the Iranian capital, Tehran, to Najaf International
