The mayor of Mérida, Cecilia Patrón, spoke out about the felling of seven trees in the Cholul neighborhood, condemning the act and stating that the case will continue to be investigated.



This past weekend, residents of the Cholul neighborhood reported the felling of seven maculís trees due to construction work on a gas station.



The outrage reached the Mérida City Council, which addressed the case and suspended the construction, citing environmental damage and imposing a fine of up to 25,00
