The members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony were in their late teens when their friend Wally was killed. It was April 27, 1993, and Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, Layzie Bone, and Wish Bone poured their grief into music, penning what would eventually become the Cleveland group’s 1996 mega hit “Tha Crossroads” (though Flesh doesn’t rap on it).
