I switched from Chrome to this open-source browser — and haven’t looked back

Chrome is synonymous with the word ‘browser’ at this point. Its humongous market share hasn’t dwindled much, even after a lot of smaller, better versions based on the same engine became available. The only competitor, Edge, also shifted to Chromium and has a slightly noticeable presence because it defaults on Windows, which has millions of users. However, Chrome’s tightened grip on ad-blocking extensions and excessive tracking makes it a tough pill to swallow.
