A fire threatened a two-story apartment yesterday in Central Kelowna
At around 2:50 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, the Kelowna Fire Department (KFD) responded to a report of a fire at an apartment complex at the 1100-block of Sutherland Ave.
On scene, an officer said there was smoke coming from one of the second-floor units of the apartment.
Further response from KFD helped to put the blaze out, including three fire engines, a ladder truck, a rescue unit and 17 firemen.
