The Mass Effect trilogy is widely considered one of the best trilogies in gaming history, and for good reason. Commander Shepard's adventures in a Milky Way under threat is one of the best sci-fi stories ever told. It features unforgettable characters, fantastic storytelling, and some unbelievable set pieces that feel like they were pulled right off the silver screen. Very few gaming trilogies can rival Mass Effect's pedigree, let alone surpass it, but a few trilogies have.
