The BWF has approved a new 3x15 scoring system in badminton, set to be implemented from January, after strong support at its AGM. While trials showed shorter, more exciting matches, opinions are divided. PV Sindhu urged meaningful change, Satwik welcomed it for doubles, but Saina Nehwal and coach Vimal Kumar opposed it, fearing it could dilute the sport’s essence.
