A Franklin County Sheriff’s deputy was in critical condition Saturday morning after he was dragged by a pickup truck during a traffic stop Friday night in Fairfax, Vermont State Police said.
Alexander T. Seagroves, 32, of Fletcher, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder. He was ordered held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Monday in Vermont Superior Co
