Clopidogrel seems to outperform aspirin for secondary chronic maintenance therapy

New findings show that switching to clopidogrel, a blood thinner, alone after one year of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) leads to better outcomes than aspirin, even in patients at high risk of bleeding and those who had complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
