This replica of a Porsche 917 was built using a Laser 917 kit from Elite Enterprises of Cokato, Minnesota. The fiberglass bodywork is mounted on a Volkswagen chassis and features gullwing doors, covered headlights, and a louvered engine cover. Power comes from a 1.6-liter flat-four linked to a four-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes black cloth upholstery, VDO gauges, Bassett Racing 15” wheels, and drum brakes.
