Senator Tony Nwoye of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been announced as the new Minority Whip of the Senate.
The announcement followed the resignation of the former Minority Whip, Osita Ngwu, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
