MMA South Africa has taken disciplinary action against Senegal fighter Adama Diop following an incident at an EFC Worldwide event on 9 April 2026.
The sanctioning body said a review of the bout found that Diop engaged in unacceptable conduct after the contest had been stopped, including a physical altercation with the referee.
MMA SA emphasised that all athletes and team members are expected to maintain professionalism and respect, regardless of disagreements with officiating decisions.
