Noreg deltek saman med rundt 30 andre land på eit to dagar langt møte om korleis ferdselen i Hormuzsundet kan sikrast.
Det stadfestar Forsvarsdepartementet overfor NTB.
Møtet er ein del av Hormuz-initiativet til Storbritannia og Frankrike.
Også i førre veke var det samtalar om Hormuzsundet, der over 40 land deltok, men ikkje USA og Iran, som er dei stridande partane.
