Elon Musk has clapped back at claims his internet satellite service, Starlink, wants to operate in South Africa illegally. This comes amid widespread backlash to his views that the country’s “racist laws” – specifically Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment within the ICT sector – has halted his plans.



Over the past few days, Musk has ramped up his criticism of his home country, even calling for sanctions over its “Apartheid 2.0” governance.
