Upon Pope Leo XIV’s arrival at the Catholic University of Central Africa, he was welcomed by the rector, Thomas Bienvenu Tchoungui, along with several students. One of them welcome him with flowers.
After that moment, as the Pope entered the venue where the large gathering took place, a hymn with personalized lyrics was sung: “Pope Leo XIV, a man of peace who comes to renew the faith of this country and of Africa.”
