African Swine flu outbreak in pigs in East Sepik Province

Authorities have confirmed a severe outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) in the East Sepik Province, leading to widespread pig mortality among local farms and communities.
 The National Veterinary Laboratory announced that the disease was detected through a positive ELISA test result on March 13, 2023.
