The latest data from the B.C. Coroners Service shows 115 people died from toxic drugs in the province in February.
The coroners service released the latest monthly data Wednesday (April 15), which showed a decrease from the 150 recorded deaths in January.
The number of deaths in February equates to about 4.1 deaths per day. It was 4.8 deaths daily in January.
People aged 30 to 59 accounted for 69 per cent of all fatal overdoses in February and 78 per cent of those who died were male.
