The past few days have been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for fans of Microsoft's Surface devices. We've only just recovered from the realisation that Microsoft's flagship Surface PCs are $500 more now than they were on release, due to rising memory and storage costs. Now, there's apparently some good news on the horizon; Microsoft is working on a new version of the Surface Laptop 8 and Surface Pro 12, albeit you should probably cast aside any thoughts on the models being cheap.
