Supporting humanitarian mine action efforts around the world

The European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) is a major supporter of humanitarian mine action worldwide, helping communities recover from conflict by reducing the threat posed by mines and explosive remnants of war. 



Globally, FPI has mobilised over €170 million funding since 2022 to support mine action efforts across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. This enables people to safely return to their homes, restore farmland and rebuild essential infrastructure.&
