Fewer committees to ease Danish Parliament workload

The Danish Parliament has reduced the number of standing committees from 30 to 20 to lower the workload and stress for its 179 members. Speaker Søren Gade states the goal is “better work” with fewer physical meetings and fewer overlapping schedules.
