In Hungary, the polls closed on Sunday afternoon, and people have turned out in record numbers to vote in an election that could see the end of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s 16-year hold on power.
Orbán, a staunch nationalist, has long been a thorn in the European Union’s side, while being supported by the populist right, including Donald Trump.
