The Nanaimo Clippers lit the lamp often in Game 5 of its B.C. Hockey League first-round playoff series eliminating the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in an 8-2 win.
The Clippers had jumped out to a 3-0 series lead, but lost 5-2 at Alberni Valley Multiplex in Game 4. They were able to win the series 4-1 and advance to the next round with the 8-2 win at Frank Crane Arena on Friday, April 10.
