KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Health Fund (NHF) has commissioned a new solar energy installation at its pharmaceutical warehouse on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston, marking a key milestone in improving energy efficiency and sustainability within Jamaica’s public health sector.

The project, which was completed in February 2026, was officially commissioned at a ceremony at the facility on Wednesday.

The project features a 535-kilowatt grid-tied photovoltaic system, designed to reduce reliance
