Apple's Mac shipments grew 9 percent during the first quarter of 2026, according to estimated shipment data shared this week by IDC.
Apple's growth outpaced overall PC market growth of 2.5 percent thanks to the M5 MacBook Pro that was released late last year. Apple also refreshed the MacBook Air and the higher-end MacBook Pro models, but those were just recently updated and wouldn't have impacted the Q1 2026 numbers much.
