UK rejects tolls on Strait of Hormuz

LONDON — Britain’s top diplomat on Thursday rejected Iran’s push to charge ships to travel through the Strait of Hormuz.
Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said the vital waterway is an international shipping and transit route which means the freedom of navigation principles apply.
