Iran targets Saudi petrochemical site as Israel strikes Shiraz facility







Iran has attacked a petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia’s Jubail industrial city in the Eastern Province, according to the semi-official Fars news agency, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions.

Saudi authorities have not yet commented on the reported strike.

Earlier, the Israeli military said it carried out an attack on a petrochemical site in Shiraz, southwestern Iran
