Authorities stopped a cross-border bus travelling from Zimbabwe to Cape Town in Bloemfontein on Friday, 3 April 2026, and discovered 32 undocumented foreign nationals on board.
The Free State Department of Community Safety, Roads and Transport conducted the operation.
Officials found that, alongside the 32 undocumented passengers, the bus was carrying 43 travellers who had been properly processed at Limpopo’s Beitbridge border post.
